Terms of use
These terms apply when you use this website, the MGX client portal, or the pages we send you links to for quotes, agreements, payments and system access. They are between you and Matthew Xanthopoulos trading as MGX Systems (ABN 87 531 778 267), referred to here as “MGX”, “we” or “us”. By using these services you agree to them.
Our work for you
Any work we do for you is governed by the Client Services Agreement you sign with us, together with the quote or proposal for that work. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed agreement, the agreement applies.
This website
The information on this website is general. Prices shown are a starting point, and the price for your work is the one in your quote. We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either.
The client portal
- Portal accounts are by invitation, for our clients and the people they nominate.
- Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may suspend an account to protect it or our systems, and we will tell you if we do.
Signing online
When you accept a quote or sign an agreement through a link we send you, your typed name or drawn signature is your signature, and it binds you as a signature on paper would. We record the time, your IP address and your browser details as evidence of it.
Paying online
- Online payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details go to Stripe and are not seen or stored by us.
- You pay the amount on your invoice, in Australian dollars, by the due date on that invoice or in your agreement.
- If you turn on automatic payment for a retainer in the portal, we charge your saved card for each retainer invoice when it is raised, and we email you a few days before. You can turn automatic payment off or remove a saved card in the portal at any time; charges already made are not reversed by doing so.
- If a payment fails we will let you know by email with a link to pay another way.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under your Client Services Agreement. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our responsibility
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by your use of this website or the portal, or by an outage of a third-party service we rely on. Our responsibility for the work itself is set out in your Client Services Agreement.

How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you use a service applies to that use. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
